16 Super Stores

The Department of Public Works had a dual challenge of a remote area building site and harsh climate. The panel was a perfect solution in terms of government specification and the local indigenous needs of retail stores and accommodation.

 

Reinforced panels were shipped to the island by a licensed manufacturer and local indigenous builders were trained in the installation of the panel system.

 

The project won an award from the Queensland Government for its innovation.
